So I bought this month's In Style magazine for the free bodyshop eyeliners & mascara. I'm such a sucker for freebies!Anyway, inside the magazine was this tinted moisturiser, I knew instantly with it being shade 3 it would be too dark for me to wear normally but I was having a bad face day so I slapped it on just to try and hide my blotchiness.
It blends really well as you can see and despite being 2 shades darker than my normal tone didn't look completely ridiculous. It sort of looked if I'd suddenly developed a very dewey "two weeks in st tropez" tan over the space of our morning tea break. Sadly the moisturising factor was missing on my extremely dry skin. I had to apply some of the soap & glory body butter I carry with me to blend it a bit & moisturise my skin. And when I got home from work I had to wash it straight off as it had gone patchy.
Maybe if I were to get the correct shade in this it would be something for a good skin day. It worked great on my hands!

I've been tempted to try this, but now I'm not so tempted! Hate the thought of something going patchy on my face where people might see me.

ReplyDeleteYeah I wasn't blown away but then my skin was having a very bad day! Maybe the patchiness wouldn't be so bad with the right shade & decent condition. :-/
