Handbags & Gladrags

So I got an invite to this event a few weeks ago and unfortunately the combination of working all weekend & my car being bolloxed means I won't be able to make it (we'll ignore the fact that I have zero money till payday lol)
It looks like a great day though and for a great cause so for anyone looking a day out near the North Coast check out the spiel below!

"Organised by the women of Causeway Coast Vineyard (CCV)(www.causewaycoastvineyard.com), Handbags and Gladrags is the 21st century’s answer to the humble jumble sale. It’s a chic ‘pop-up’ twist on a charity shop, where fashion-lovers can buy pre-loved, nearly new and vintage items of donated clothing in a luxurious temporary setting awash with indulgences including pampering treatments and delicious food and drink, with all profits going to charity.

Now in its fourth year, Handbags and Gladrags takes place on Friday 10th February 2012 (5-7pm and 8-10pm) and Saturday 11th February 2012 (10-12pm, 1-3pm, 4-6pm, 7-9pm) at Coleraine’s new not-for-profit lifestyle boutique, Hope and Gloria (24 Railway Road, Coleraine). The last Handbags and Gladrags event raised over £4,500 for charity and was attended by more than 850 people.

Handbags and Gladrags spokeswoman Tori Sheppard said: “Every year we think we’ll never improve on the last event but this looks set to be the biggest and best Handbags and Gladrags event yet, with no less than six different shopping sessions to choose from. So much is included in the price of your ticket: bag yourself some beautiful bargains, try out a whole new look on a shoestring, indulge in some pampering (from nails and facials to hair consultations and massage) and enjoy delicious food and drink, with the added bonus of knowing the money raised is all going towards compassion projects both at home and abroad...it's good all the way around!"

Handbags and Gladrags is a women-only event, but boys and girls under eight years old can attend for free. Tickets cost £5 and are available online from www.hopeandgloria.org and at CCV’s Sunday services at 27 Queen’s Street, Coleraine (the old Dunnes stores building)"

Such a girly day

So Bex (@red_ribbon on twitter) and I have had an ultimately girly day today. We've been shopping in Camden & Oxford Street, got our nails done at WAH & one of those weird fish pedicures too. Add to that an immense amount of sushi for dinner and an imminent visit to the pub once I finish up this post you could say its been a pretty good day.
Here's some pics!

London Baby!!

I shall be blogging a few things on the go from about town with one big IMATS focussed post when I get back.

Here Kitty Kitty

So I get emails from marks & Spencer's PR team every now and again. Most of them make me hungry (the weekly food offers) and some of the them just don't seem to fit me as a person.
Then they told me about this gorgeous swimsuit and i'm now so very glad I get these emails. Will definitely be snapping this up even though I never wear non-cupped swimsuits!

Cute, cute, cute, vagina, cute.

Enough said.

Edit; these are the nail rock wraps for Meadham Kirchoff.
