House Of Fraser A/W press launch!

This week I attended the House of Fraser  A/W launch as a little pre-Fashion Week treat. It seems like only weeks since we last had Fashion Week on the horizon and, with it, the launch of the Spring/Summer season. Well summer is well and truly over and we move on to my favourite fashion seasons. Autumn/Winter.

Now I'm never one to dress weather appropriate. I don't like massively bulky jumpers in the winter and I never go without some form of sleeve in summer no matter how warm I am! It's a comfort thing. So autumn is kind of my favourite time to shop. It's not too cold that we are massivly covered in layers and we have firmly said goodbye micro shorts (or at least we should have) in the shops.

Ok so enough blathering on its time to show you some of the goodies I spotted after enjoying breakfast & gossip with my FABB girlies Nic (Strawberry Blonde Beauty) & Gemma-Louise (That Belfast Girl)

This ring from Filli Folli was simple but still Blingy enough to make an impact. I have a Black & Bling themed wedding coming up in the future & I'm serious tempted to buy this as an accent to my dress!

I fell in love with Kilian Kerner last season when he launched in the Belfast store. The most gorgeously quirky prints cut beautifully to flatter the figure. Ok so thats a lot of adverbs but you get my point. They have also relaunched the line in a lower, more affordable, price bracket but still have kept the same quality so that can only be a good thing for eagle eyed shoppers!

Nature prints popped up quite a bit during my browsing. These autumnal scenes are quite beautiful and something really different from the usual spring florals you associate with nature prints.

Another favourite lust of my are Biba and they are sticking to their Art Deco roots with, of course, a 1920s glamour themed collection. Yes it screams Gatsby and yes it makes me wish I was a flapper girl living the high life. One can dream!

More blingy inspiration for potential christmas do's!

Handbag love/lust! Again I'm loving Biba with their orange clutch and could do a lot of damage with DKNY's Saffiano Large Black Tote. Anyone got a spare £265? Anyone? Bueller?

Lashes were loving their Laser Cutouts with full dresses and peplums made from the leather look PU fabric. I, however, was loving the minimalist approach on the collar of this cute shirt.

I'll leave you with a glimpse of my look for the day and a wee confession after all this designer talk... New Look head to toe. ;)

Matcha Madness: The Body Shop Matcha Tea Face Mask Review

My name is Bex and I am a mask addict! I love masks. Cream, clay, mud, peeling, sheet, cellulose, nourishing... you name it and I love it! I recently spent an evening with the amazing staff from The Body Shop Belfast learning about all their key products and celebrating their cruelty free status and at the end of the night I was very kindly gifted their Japanese Matcha Tea pollution clearing mask - I was delighted!  We all know that the world has gone Matcha crazy but beyond an occasional frappe from a well known coffee house my main experiences have been with Matcha flavour cakes from my local asian supermarket. They are seriously amazing and the lightest sponge I've ever eaten but it doesn't exactly scream "good for you". Thankfully, apart from being seriously tasty Matcha is ridiculously good for you. Traditionally brewed as a simple green tea it is packed full of antioxidants - 10 times the amount in normal green teas as you are consuming the precious groun

Ophrys Skincare

If you have been following my blogs and social media you will have seen that I am currently partnering with Therapie Clinics and trying out their range of specialist facials to try and improve my skin. Alongside the facials (my second of which is coming up in April!) I have really tried to up my game with my skin care. Rather than just slapping everything that says hydration on I am really trying to target specific areas and problems. This has not been without it's troubles as my sensitive skin tries to adjust to this higher level of care. As a result of this - and a few other internal factors - I have been experiencing a few more breakouts than normal but I have been coping with them better. It's all about the give and take. And when it comes to the 'give' I was very lucky to be approached by Ophrys Skincare to talk about their new range of low molecular hyaluronic skincare with their patented Mini-Hax particle. "Low Ma-what?" I hear you say? Well... Low
