Do You Deserve Happiness?

Few things make me happier than a simple vanilla candle and some twinkly lights; but is true happiness a right?

It seems to be a common misconception amongst millennials, yes I've accepted that I am a millennial, that we deserve things, are entitled. We deserve a satisfying job. We deserve wealth or, at the very least, financial security. We deserve family. We deserve Love. 
We deserve happiness.

But do we really? 

Or do we see the generations before us, who have most of these things, and expect to have the same? Are we entitled or we deserving? 

I honestly have no clue. I'm 31 now and it doesn't seem to be getting any easier. Older friends, ones who have these things and yet for some unknown reason still aren't happy, will tell you that of course you deserve these things. They are a right! I'm remain unconvinced. 

I'm trying very hard to change my attitudes towards my entitlement. I no longer expect things to be handed to me. I am trying not to expect too much of others. I am changing my attitude and I am dropping my expectations. Because by taking this small step I have noticed that I am happier without trying to be happy. By stepping away from competitiveness I have found a sort of peace. 

Its not a perfect way of life. I still want love. I would like security. I would like world peace. I would like a lot of things. Do I deserve them? I just don't know.

    I really need to stop expecting things , especially when it's based on someone else's actions.

    We do all deserve to be happy & in love but I believe it's up to us to get this ourselves .... it won't just fall in our laps... nobody will be truly happy until they themselves do something towards it.

      Absolutely! It is something that has to be worked on and cultivated. We can't just expect or demand happiness.

If you have been following my blogs and social media you will have seen that I am currently partnering with Therapie Clinics and trying out their range of specialist facials to try and improve my skin. Alongside the facials (my second of which is coming up in April!) I have really tried to up my game with my skin care. Le mini macaron gel manicure kit review

Can we talk about how long it's been since I've done a nail post? Too long. Far too long! Well wait no more because I have the cutest little product to show you! I picked Le mini macaron in Sephora. It was clearly over priced at around €30 but completely irresistible to my gel obsessed self (hey, it's sort of my job so I have an excuse) especially in my Sephora daze where I went into shove-everything-in-the-basket mode.  No regrets.  The kit comes in 4 colours, I chose peach because I love saying le péché in French and I LOVE the colour peach. It's the cutest little kit that comes with a usb cable, a little nail file and a cuticle pusher as well as some remover wipes and a European plug. The latter two remain completely unused.  In Sephora itself you can buy stand alone polishes in a huge assortment of colours but to be honest, I wouldn't buy these polishes again. Single step UV polishes (no base or top coat needed) sound great but there is
