Lavender Lover

Stop the presses we have here a momentous occasion! Today I bought a Nail polish that wasn't Barry M. It was in fact the absolutely gorgeous Lavender Love from Gosh's Special Edition Collection and it was just short of £5 in Superdrug. The picture's really don't do it justice it really is the most beautiful purple I've seen in a long time. It's also the first disaster I've ever had with a nail polish. I really thought I was being clever giving myself a quick manicure before painting my nails, they were all gorgeous and soft from the Soap & Glory Hand Food I had so lovingly rubbed in. Now I'm gathering the polish has reacted with the oils in the moisturiser and the result was this... Sorry about the quality of the photo my camera took a spasm in the kitchen and just wouldn't focus! It went all weird and holey! Not good at all. Thankfully running a bit of nail polish remover did the trick and the final result looks great! As usual you can see with

Stray Jewellery

Today has been a really lovely. A day which combines country driving, Boojum, Jewellery, nail polish & Ikea is a good day. My score for the day was an absolutely gorgeous ring from Stray Jewellery  who've recently opened a store just opposite Muriels Wine Bar in Belfast. I've seen Stray about on twitter and know they have a store every Sunday in St George's Market but I was really excited to see the new shop which is beautifully laid out and full of amazing pieces.  My New Stray Cat I love this ring, it's adjustable so fits just right and as you can see matches my other band perfectly! There was so much I could've bought there today that I imagine this wee kitty wont be without his companions for long! Bex

Hot Oil

Not of the olive variety. This morning I tried VO5 hot oil before washing my hair, I picked it up yesterday from my second home - Boots . I was a little dubious at first because it was only £2.18 for 4 tubes of it and I was thinking "hmmmmm, but theres an intensive conditioner over there for 8 quid and it must be better?"  NO, don't got for that over priced leave in conditioner give these little beauties a try first. Pop one out of the packet and stick it in a cup/sink of hot water for 60 seconds to heat it up. While it's got its feet up with a cuppa chilling out wet your hair  thoroughly. Get the tube from the hot water, pop it open and massage it into your hair. I concentrated on the ends of my hair as they are in the worst condition, then worked it through the rest of my hair. The pack comes with strict instructions not to leave it on for more that 1 minute as it's an intensive treatment it can cause irritation of left on any longer. So I was sharpish &
