Baring our souls... and bags (the one where you get to hear us talk!)

We've been nervously holding on to this bad  boy for a couple of weeks now but the time has come to introduce ourselves verbally. We decided to do this by joining in on the "What's in my bag?" tag on YouTube. So here it is! Enjoy!

Playing Fashionista at Belfast Fashion Week

Thursday was the opening night of Belfast Fashion Week and it was kicked off in style by George at Asda . That's right. Asda! I usually only get to 1 show during fashion week and often spend the whole time thinking "yeah it looks good but I could never fit/afford it!" I did not have that problem tonight given that none of them exceed £15 and I actually plan to seek out a few of the items you see below. On a more serious note I was once again disappointed to see that BFW haven't embraced the plus size model trend or even the normal sized trend! The girls were, at times, drowned in clothes that are obviously not tailored for the waif-like bodies seen on the catwalk. I kind of wanted to offer up the free cake in my goodie bag to try and fill them out a bit! A sacrifice worth making if you ask me. But I still enjoyed myself and for once I actually left the show feeling inspired to go shopping. Well done to the guys at George at Asda . And thank you very to Cathy

Get your #fakeup on with @benefit_ire

Last night -edit- Tuesday night(!) myself and Bex were invited to the fakeup event at the Ivory restaurant in House of Fraser , Belfast. We got to meet other lovely bloggers, try some products and hear about the new fakeup! (There may have been a sneaky glass of champagne had too...) So! Fakeup is the new concealer from Benefit which would be amazing on its own, however, it's got a hydrating ring full of vitamin E and apple seed extract which moisturises while covering up those nasty dark circles. We all had the product applied by the fabulous Mark, who showed us how to blend it to perfection. At the moment I have the cold so cue big red nose and awful skin... Fakeup has already covered these and because of the hydrating ring it actually feels nice on my nose instead of awful and dry! Ps it wears well with being attacked by snotty tissues and lots of sneezing...winner! Pps what's with all this snow?? I have to travel back to leeds on Saturday night! By boat. And coach.

Mani Monday Week 8

Can you believe it's week 8 of our nail challenge? Only another 23 to go! Oh dear, let's not think about that daunting prospect. This week's brief is Rainbows and I went for the classic LGBT Rainbow flag cos it's class! Then I went for a deconstructed rainbow motif on the rest my nails including the traditional rainbow Blue and adding pink... Cos that's how I roll. I used mostly Inglot Nail Art Pens which I will be posting a full review of shortly and lamenting the loss of my local Inglot store. Have you checked out our other participants yet? Check Instagram for contributions from Gayle @kaspanda86. You can also find, me @faeribex, Bex is @bexberrymua, Caroline is @mademoisellerouge and Jen is @jenlingyang.
