New purchases, repurchases and shopping the stash. March beauty faves.

I'm a creature of habit and when I find products I love I tend to stick with them for ages. In March I've tried to shake things up by raiding my stash and shopping for new and old favourites. Here are my 6 most used products in March.  Benefit Rollerlash - after trying to search for something that matches rollerlash but is easier on the purse I gave in and just repurchased. Whilst it is amazing from the first use this is actually a mascara that gets better the older it is as the formula tightens up and really gives a Wow factor.  Sleek Cleopatra Palette - although the temptation to move on to pinks and pastels for spring I will never stray far from my golds and Metallics. Although I don't wear makeup every day I keep the Cleopatra palette in my emergency kit as it is great for both a subtle highlight and for using as and eye shadow.  Pixi By Petra Clear Brow Gel - it's very easy to get caught up in the wonderful world of Benefit Brow Products but othe

Where to eat in Northern Ireland featuring Browns Restaurants

This week has been a week of indulgence. I've been very lucky to spend time with friends and colleagues dining on some delicious eats and enjoying the good atmospheres and company in some of Northern Ireland's most popular and acclaimed restaurants. If I was the sort I would be sticking #blessed on everything.  The week started in Ballyhackamore at Il Pirata , one of my favourite Belfast restaurants, for a quick lunch with one of my best friends before we dived in to a busy day shopping at Ikea. We started with a cocktail and shared sourdough with tapenade. I'm one of those people who hate olives but loves tapenade. Add garlic and anchovies to anything and I will love it. For main I had the duck ragu with spinach and gnocchi. I always end up getting some form of ragu in Il Pirata and they rarely disappoint. I will have to say that I prefer getting my gnocchi as a side rather than part of the main dish. It loses the slightly crunchy, buttery, garlicky w

Benito Brow Bar Belfast opens in Topshop Victoria Square

There's a new brow bar in Belfast and they are set to take the town by storm. Located on the ground floor of Topshop Victoria Square, in the accessories and make-up section, Benito Brow Bar promises to offer quick, professional service to Belfast's fashionistas. You may think it's a bit strange to have a brow bar in a clothes shop but Topshop's London branches have hosted nail and hair bars such as WAH Nails and BLEACH London. These brands have gone on to become huge successes across the UK's high streets with books and their own product lines on sale. Beauty and Fashion go hand in hand according to Topshop and brows are just the latest trend they are setting.  I was lucky enough to spend an evening with the girls at Benito Belfast and along with a few other bloggers, received a demo of the Benito process and a cheeky cupcake. We were then all treated to a consultation and our own treatments. I went for just a simple threading as I'm already dark and I

Harry Potter the awesomely cheap eBay wand necklaces

I'm aware I've been on a bit of a Harry Potter kick recently. I seem to have opened a gate and the cute, very shoppable, stuff just keeps coming through!  My latest find are  these  eBay Harry Potter Wand necklaces. A steal at just 2.79 each or 6.49 for the lot.      Left to Right: Hermione | Harry | Voldemort | Dumbledore For wear these are great; The chains provided are a good long length and sturdy too. The pendants themselves are weighty so you don't feel like it's going to snap in half when you lean against something.  I've decided that rather than keep them as necklaces I'm going to get a frame and hang them them in my living room. I'm thinking an A5 size frame with the borders removed (I tried an A4 size I had spare and it was just too big). I may keep the display so that they are easily removable just in case I take a notion! I do tend to take notions.  What do you think?
