Do You Deserve Happiness?

Few things make me happier than a simple vanilla candle and some twinkly lights; but is true happiness a right? It seems to be a common misconception amongst millennials, yes I've accepted that I am a millennial, that we deserve things, are entitled. We deserve a satisfying job. We deserve wealth or, at the very least, financial security. We deserve family. We deserve Love.  We deserve happiness. But do we really?  Or do we see the generations before us, who have most of these things, and expect to have the same? Are we entitled or we deserving?  I honestly have no clue. I'm 31 now and it doesn't seem to be getting any easier. Older friends, ones who have these things and yet for some unknown reason still aren't happy, will tell you that of course you deserve these things. They are a right! I'm remain unconvinced.  I'm trying very hard to change my attitudes towards my entitlement. I no longer expect things to be handed to me. I am tryi

New year new skincare. How I changed up my routine Garnier Moisture Bomb

If you've been living under a rock for the last few months you won't have seen the hubbub about the Garnier SkinActive Moisture Bomb Tissue Mask . I've talked about budget sheet masks in the past but this is the first one I've seen available in the UK that didn't have to be imported. At £1.50 per mask it was a big deal. I didn't jump on the bandwagon though because I've never had much luck with Garnier products before and I had quite the backlog of masks to go through myself.  Then I saw this set available at Christmas from Tesco. The set contained a 3-in-1 day cream and a gel formula night cream plus retailing separately at £7.99 each plus one of the famous sheet masks.  The set was £7.50.  Had to be done! Now the mask itself I was not impressed with. For something that boasts 7 days worth of serum in one go I did not expect to feel dry immediately after. Thankfully this is a team effort and I immediately applied the night cream. It was

My Month In Film December

There goes another year! It's January which means I'm here to give you my December choices of the most memorable film and television I've seen. For better or worse! Last month was a hard one with the passing of  Carrie Fisher  and just the general chaos of Christmas. It also signified the anniversary of a very tough year for me personally and I am glad to see the back of it. I still managed to get in a few notable hours in front of the boob tube.    Fear The Walking Dead I've become one of those people who just can't get enough of The Walking Dead . So much so that I've even started watched old series as I wait for new episodes. Yes I hate myself, don't worry. Obviously this meant that I needed to watch Fear The Walking Dead ; a sort of parallel time prequel series. We see the first appearances of the virus that brought about the end of the world and how the characters deal with it. It's all stuff that has been talked about in main series but ne
