Few things make me happier than a simple vanilla candle and some twinkly lights; but is true happiness a right? It seems to be a common misconception amongst millennials, yes I've accepted that I am a millennial, that we deserve things, are entitled. We deserve a satisfying job. We deserve wealth or, at the very least, financial security. We deserve family. We deserve Love. We deserve happiness. But do we really? Or do we see the generations before us, who have most of these things, and expect to have the same? Are we entitled or we deserving? I honestly have no clue. I'm 31 now and it doesn't seem to be getting any easier. Older friends, ones who have these things and yet for some unknown reason still aren't happy, will tell you that of course you deserve these things. They are a right! I'm remain unconvinced.
