My Homage To The Gods Of WAH

Hello boys & girls! And welcome new followers. Michelle & I are very excited to share our thoughts with you.

Ok, cheesy bit over with, it's been a while since I've done a proper NOTD post, I was very conscious that I was being too nail heavy so have avoided writing about my recent weird/disastrous creations. But I have to mention my current talons because I've had so much feedback on them from friends & colleagues.
First up, these are not my design, those in the know will recognise them from WAH NAILS.
[edit] I forgot to mention that I saw a post from Little Red Fox where she did a much closer take on the design which inspired me to have a go! Maybe this could be the start of a Nail Meme? [/edit]
My interpretation is loose as I didn't have the colours to just straight copy them.
Wah
Secondly, this was my first ever attempt at leopard print nails so its a bit dodgy I apologise. My favourite nail is my left thumb as you see below (apologies for the dodgy photography, my camera took a shit fit today)
Thirdly and I think most importantly I'm setting myself a new commandment when it comes to nail art.
Thou Shalt Not Apply The Top Coat With Lights Off
It sounds so simple when you think about it. But bright spark here thought she'd be grand applying her Seche Vite by only the light of her trusty laptop.
Fail.
I missed loads of spots around my nails resulting in chipping, peeling and quite a few repair jobs.

Ah well, I've had them on for a few days now & really like them but tomorrow shall be their last day... Maybe.

I'll leave you with these uh... beauties. A friend sent me a link on twitter suggesting (I'm hoping jokingly) I try them out. They're a bit extreme for my tastes but each to their own I guess!

Matcha Madness: The Body Shop Matcha Tea Face Mask Review

My name is Bex and I am a mask addict! I love masks. Cream, clay, mud, peeling, sheet, cellulose, nourishing... you name it and I love it! I recently spent an evening with the amazing staff from The Body Shop Belfast learning about all their key products and celebrating their cruelty free status and at the end of the night I was very kindly gifted their Japanese Matcha Tea pollution clearing mask - I was delighted!  We all know that the world has gone Matcha crazy but beyond an occasional frappe from a well known coffee house my main experiences have been with Matcha flavour cakes from my local asian supermarket. They are seriously amazing and the lightest sponge I've ever eaten but it doesn't exactly scream "good for you". Thankfully, apart from being seriously tasty Matcha is ridiculously good for you. Traditionally brewed as a simple green tea it is packed full of antioxidants - 10 times the amount in normal green teas as you are consuming the precious groun

Ophrys Skincare

If you have been following my blogs and social media you will have seen that I am currently partnering with Therapie Clinics and trying out their range of specialist facials to try and improve my skin. Alongside the facials (my second of which is coming up in April!) I have really tried to up my game with my skin care. Rather than just slapping everything that says hydration on I am really trying to target specific areas and problems. This has not been without it's troubles as my sensitive skin tries to adjust to this higher level of care. As a result of this - and a few other internal factors - I have been experiencing a few more breakouts than normal but I have been coping with them better. It's all about the give and take. And when it comes to the 'give' I was very lucky to be approached by Ophrys Skincare to talk about their new range of low molecular hyaluronic skincare with their patented Mini-Hax particle. "Low Ma-what?" I hear you say? Well... Low

The Ordinary by The Abnormal Beauty Company (or how I dipped my toe in to Deciem)

The Ordinary by the Abnormal Beauty Company ; If you haven't heard about this cult brand yet then you might not know they are hot shit right now and with their parent company, Deciem , being bought up by Estée Lauder they're only going to get bigger.   The internet has been a buzz for months now with beauty gurus far and wide raving about these high end products for low end prices. I couldn't believe it myself when I saw that there wasn't a product in the range that cost more than 8.00 quid!  So I joined the cult. I have to say that I was really impressed by the counter staff in House Of Fraser Belfast , they were friendly, knowledgeable and able to point me in the direction of the products I needed with just a short chat about my skin. I bought the Hyaluronic Acid 2% and the Niacinimide 10% Serums. If you have no idea what these mean then basically the Hyaluronic is for hydration and, whilst The Ordinary say that Niacinimide combats blemishes, I would actua
