My Thai Swedish Hot Oil Massage Bliss and how you can get it

Here's the thing: I love massages. I love getting them. I love giving them (I'm excellent at giving them actually). I love em. There's just something about lying face down and getting smacked about a bit that… wait… actually I stand by that, it's great. Here's the other thing: I can't afford all the massages my body craves! I'm not an inspo blogger, I don't have a tonne of money to throw about and live the glam life. I don't even have the money to pretend I live the glam life. I'm the girl who took a year long nail course and became a qualified nail technician because I couldn't justify spending £40 on a manicure but I could justify £200 on a life long skill.  I like my value for money.  This is why the Northern Ireland based Ohh Social is the perfect app for me. It's all about the value for money and it's all about the price per use. So what is it? Essentially it's a Buy One Get One Free app for r

No Halloween Costume Needed

It's become an accepted norm that once December 1st comes around the nations will don their snowflake print leggings and their novelty jumpers but so far the other seasons are lacking in their effort. Yes, Halloween is famous as being the single greatest costume day of the year but I need October to step and represent in the seasonal apparel game.  Thankfully retailers have heard my inner goth cry and have come up with some seriously cute Halloween inspired items. For those who love a slogan tee you have every variation of saying that could possibly be made by rhyming witch with bitch and if you don't say every one of with Emma Roberts' attitude then you need to watch season 3 of American Horror Story immediately!   Dressing with the seasons is clearly big money but it doesn't have to cost the world. Here are my choices of how to get into the Halloween spirit all under £30.  Boohoo Starting with my favourites because I can! I actually bought the f

A lesson in coffee from Ground Espresso

If you were to ask me for a recommendation where to go for coffee, good coffee, then I would say Ground Espresso . I reviewed their  Sprucefield store  earlier this year and last year I went with Sarah to their Waterstones branch for a  coffee lesson . It was my first step to properly enjoying coffee without needing to fill it full of chocolate, caramel, and sugar. I'm a bit of a heathen in that sense. Recently we were offered the chance to try out their next level of coffee education. We learned what cupping is, how to break the crust (something I'd never heard of in my life!); we learned how to tell the different methods of roasting, different methods of brewing the coffee, and the many variations in how each process affects the final taste.  We eventually narrowed down our preferences so that in the future we know what to look for when choosing types of coffee to make sure we really enjoy it.  Kris, the Waterstones manager, is brimming with enthusiasm for these

My month in film: September

Hello folk! As you know by now I take a moment at the start of each month to tell you what I've been watching and what I thought of it. September was no different except in that it just seemed to drag. Maybe that was the wifi problems I've been having recently. Thankfully I still managed to get some good choices in and I sorted out new internet for October so I'll be in full streaming form once again!  Stranger Things Ok, so this was a "let's see what the fuss is about" watch. This series is so hyped it's unbelievable! It is a great show but I was slightly disappointed and this was 100% down to spoilers and social media commentary. With that in mind I'm not to going to say much more about its because Stranger Things is best watched when you know nothing about it. That didn't work out for me this time but I'll making sure for season 2 I get in quickly so that it doesn't happen again.  The Get Down Unlike Stranger Things I l
