What's in our..wow wait where'd it go?

Soooooo some of you may have seen the teaser for our next video and been like "Dayum, get that uploaded already".

Well, I can tell you that the video has been edited and lovingly prepared to be sent out into the world of YouTube.... Until I deleted the main files on my ipad and can no longer export the video anywhere. So, I thought no problem because I know for a fact that I just backed up my ipad because I know technology likes to play tricks on me. Plugged her into iTunes and its like "oh hey you got a new ipad! :D"

No.

So, I've been looking for other solutions and the best I can work out is to record the video while its playing in imovie (because the video itself can be played directly from there). Or find an app for that.

If anyone knows of any way I can salvage it from imovie please let me know!

In the mean time why not have a wee watch of the teaser again :) http://youtu.be/1m7tfPbcgKw

Faeriwood Craft Corner ft Sarah Jayne Chalk Paints

Every now and again I get the craft bug and start looking through my flat to find things to paint, stitch, or just make pretty. Of course in a one bed flat with a very curious cat that is easier said than done so when I received these chalk paints from Sarah-Jayne Chalk Paints I had to look smaller than I would have liked. I picked up this jewellery box as part of a £1 lucky dip box at an auction waaaaaaay back when I first moved in. I basically kitted out my whole flat for twenty quid (see my auction adventure here). Ever since it has been sat on the dresser I picked up at the same auction waiting to be painted.

The time has come.
Step 1: Sand!
Now I know you don’t need to sand with most chalk paints and the Sarah-Jayne Chalk Paints are no exception to this; however the drawers on this box were already super tight and I knew I needed to sand them down or else the added layers of paint and wax would just weld them closed permanently. I sanded the entire thing by hand and it took foreve…

Ophrys Skincare

If you have been following my blogs and social media you will have seen that I am currently partnering with Therapie Clinics and trying out their range of specialist facials to try and improve my skin. Alongside the facials (my second of which is coming up in April!) I have really tried to up my game with my skin care. Rather than just slapping everything that says hydration on I am really trying to target specific areas and problems.
This has not been without it's troubles as my sensitive skin tries to adjust to this higher level of care. As a result of this - and a few other internal factors - I have been experiencing a few more breakouts than normal but I have been coping with them better. It's all about the give and take.

And when it comes to the 'give' I was very lucky to be approached by Ophrys Skincare to talk about their new range of low molecular hyaluronic skincare with their patented Mini-Hax particle. "Low Ma-what?" I hear you say? Well... Low Molec…

Matcha Madness: The Body Shop Matcha Tea Face Mask Review

My name is Bex and I am a mask addict! I love masks. Cream, clay, mud, peeling, sheet, cellulose, nourishing... you name it and I love it! I recently spent an evening with the amazing staff from The Body Shop Belfast learning about all their key products and celebrating their cruelty free status and at the end of the night I was very kindly gifted their Japanese Matcha Tea pollution clearing mask - I was delighted!

We all know that the world has gone Matcha crazy but beyond an occasional frappe from a well known coffee house my main experiences have been with Matcha flavour cakes from my local asian supermarket. They are seriously amazing and the lightest sponge I've ever eaten but it doesn't exactly scream "good for you".

Thankfully, apart from being seriously tasty Matcha is ridiculously good for you. Traditionally brewed as a simple green tea it is packed full of antioxidants - 10 times the amount in normal green teas as you are consuming the precious ground up lea…
